How to read what's on this site — and what it isn't.
Not financial advice
Stockbrowse is for research and education. Nothing here is financial advice, an investment recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. We don't know your situation, and the site doesn't account for it. Do your own research, and talk to a qualified advisor before you invest.
Scores describe, they don't predict
The Compass Score rates structural quality from public fundamentals. A high score means a company has looked financially healthy — it doesn't promise the stock will go up. Quality and price are different questions, and a great company can be a poor investment at the wrong price.
Fair Value is an estimate, not a target
The Fair Value range shows what a stock might be worth if it traded like its peers and its own history. It's descriptive, not a price target or a forecast of returns. Cheap can stay cheap, and a low estimate can be a value trap. The range needs decent analyst and fundamental coverage to mean much.
Catalyst and Golden are experimental
The Catalyst signal and Golden Stocks are based on historical patterns with a short live track record. We pre-registered the formula and track it forward in the open. Treat them as one input among many, not a buy signal. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results.
Data can be wrong or stale
Prices, fundamentals, and analyst figures come from third-party providers and can contain errors or lag the market. We refresh daily but make no guarantee of accuracy or timeliness. Verify anything you plan to act on against a primary source.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you open an account or make a purchase through them. That never affects our ratings — the scores are computed from data, not deals.
